MUCL is sponsoring a reading initiative to encourage children to continue reading throughout the summer months.

This program is open to all children and teenagers.

To get started, participants need to sign up at the library, where they will receive a Summer Reading Pack

that includes a log in which to record how much time is spent reading during the summer.

As in the past, prizes will be awarded to children who meet the specified reading goals over the course of the program.

The elementary program is in conjunction with the Mount Union Area School District's reading requirement.
